Welcome to McCoy's Public House.

Named after John C. McCoy, the founder of Westport, McCoy’s Public House recreates an atmosphere drawn from traditions of old. The term “public house” refers to a local establishment serving food & ale. Public houses quickly became the focal point of any village or community in British & Irish culture.

Our award-winning mac & cheese has been a signature dish with over 135,000 sold since 1997. We’re also proud of our locally-ground half-pound burgers cooked over a hickory fire. For over 19 years, we have produced Kansas City’s best hand-crafted ales & lagers, many of which are nationally-recognized award winners. In addition to our flagship varieties, we brew an ever-changing list of rotating seasonal beers.  Our Head Brewer Morgan Fetters recently won a Great American Beer Festival Gold Medal for our Imperial Brown called Ursa Minor.
